Part 1: Hire terms

These are the terms of every equipment hire and done-for-you job from Airlie Pressure Hire. They match the hire agreement you sign at pickup or delivery; if the two ever differ, the signed agreement applies.

Hire period and fees

• The hire day runs 7am to 6pm. Shorter hires are welcome at the same day rate.
• Multi-day hire is charged at days x $100. There is no separate weekend rate.
• Equipment returned more than one hour past 6pm incurs a $50 half-day fee. Each further day is charged at $100.
• The petrol unit is supplied with a full tank of unleaded 91 (no E10, no premium). Return it full or a $20 refuel fee applies.
• Delivery and pickup within the zone (Jubilee Pocket to Proserpine) is $25 per hire. Collection from Riordanvale is free.

Payment and identification

• Full payment is due at pickup or delivery by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Square, or cash. No bond is taken.
• A card on file with Square may be authorised as security for damage or loss.
• The hirer must be 16 or older with a valid driver's licence or photo ID. We sight the ID and record the number on the hire agreement; we do not photograph or copy it.

Your responsibilities

• The hirer is responsible for the equipment from handover until it is returned or collected.
• Use the equipment only as demonstrated at handover and per the manufacturer's instructions. Never run it without water, and do not use the electric unit in rain.
• Do not point the spray at people, animals, electrical fittings or the machine itself. Eye protection is recommended and supplied guidance must be followed.
• The hirer is responsible for loss, theft or damage beyond fair wear and tear, up to the repair or replacement cost of the equipment.
• The equipment must not be re-hired or lent for payment, and stays within the Whitsundays region unless agreed with us first.

Surfaces and liability

• High-pressure water can damage soft or deteriorating surfaces, including loose paint, old render, timber and seals. Always test an inconspicuous area first.
• Airlie Pressure Hire is not liable for damage to surfaces cleaned by the hirer, or for indirect or consequential loss, except as required by law.

Our responsibilities and your consumer rights

• Every machine is checked, fuelled (petrol) and test-run in front of you at handover. If it does not run at handover, you do not take it, and you pay nothing.
• If the equipment develops a fault during the hire that is not the hirer's doing, contact us immediately and we will repair, replace or refund the affected hire time.
• Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellations and weather

Done-for-you service

• Where we do the pressure washing for you, the rate is $40 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. Time is counted while we are on site working, and payment is due on completion by card through Square or cash.
• The service includes our choice-of-machine (petrol or electric, as agreed), fuel, and attachments on the petrol washer where the job suits them. You provide access to the areas to be cleaned and a working tap at mains pressure.
• We test an inconspicuous area before cleaning. If a surface looks too soft or deteriorated to clean safely, we will tell you before proceeding and may decline that part of the job.
• We perform the service with due care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that apply to services.
• The same cancellation approach applies: nothing is paid until the job is done, so call or text as soon as plans change and we will move or cancel the booking with no fee.

Part 2: Website terms

Use of this website

• This website is operated by Airlie Pressure Hire (ABN 60 173 548 928). By using it you accept these terms.
• Content is provided for general information about our hire services in the Whitsundays. While we keep prices and details current, all bookings are confirmed by phone, text or email, and availability is not guaranteed until confirmed.
• Prices shown are in Australian dollars and may change; the price confirmed at booking is the price you pay.

Content and intellectual property

• The text, photos and logo on this site belong to Airlie Pressure Hire and may not be reused commercially without permission. Product names such as ToolPRO, STIHL and Jet-USA are trademarks of their respective owners, used here to describe the equipment we hire.

General information only

• Cleaning tips and machine guidance on this site are general in nature. Surfaces vary; always test an inconspicuous area and follow the instructions given at handover. We are not responsible for outcomes from following general information on this site, except as required by law.

Privacy, links and changes

• Personal information is handled per our Privacy Policy.
• We may update these terms at any time by posting the new version here with a new date.
• These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
