The hire day runs 7am to 6pm. Keep it for a shorter stint if that suits, the day rate is the same. Full payment at pickup or delivery, no bond: tap card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Square, or pay cash. Bring your driver's licence, we sight it and note the number on the hire agreement, no photos, no copies kept. Petrol goes out with a full tank, return it full or add $20 for the refuel. Return over an hour past 6pm and a $50 half-day applies. Minimum hire age is 16.
The machines: petrol and electric
Airlie Pressure Hire runs two machines: a ToolPRO 6.5HP petrol pressure washer and a STIHL RE 120 PLUS electric. The petrol unit is the heavy hitter for driveways, paths, hulls and mouldy render, no cord, no limits. The STIHL electric is the quiet achiever, light and fume-free, perfect around guests, tight townhouse blocks, cars and boats.
Both hire for $100 a day, and both are sized right for home jobs, not oversized commercial rigs you pay extra to lug around. Every unit goes out checked, tested and ready to run. If it does not fire up at pickup, you do not take it home.
ToolPRO 6.5HP Petrol
The heavy hitter • 8m hose • 4 quick-connect nozzles (0°, 15°, 40° + detergent)
Goes anywhere, no power point needed. 2900 PSI strips years of grime and tropical mould off concrete, and uses less water than a garden hose doing it. Runs on unleaded 91, goes out with a full tank. Best for driveways, paths, boat hulls and stubborn buildup.
Petrol unit add-on, $30 a day. Twin rotating jets halve your driveway time and leave an even finish instead of wand stripes.
STIHL RE 120 PLUS Electric
The quiet achiever • 9m hose on a reel • rotary + adjustable fan nozzles
Quiet, fume-free and easy to start, just plug in and go. Perfect for holiday rentals with guests around, townhouses, cars, boats and gentler surfaces. Needs a standard powerpoint and a heavy-duty outdoor extension lead.
